God Said Give'em Drum Machine is Coming 2017

Starring Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May and Eddie Fowlkes, God Said Give 'Em Drum Machines tells the lost stories of the underground music scene in 1980's Detroit and how it revolutionized and changed dance music forever. The Washington-Hill Pictures release is slated for 2017.

Kristian Hill

Motor City native Kristian Hill is celebrated and respected as one of Detroit’s most talented creative professionals. Excelling as a filmmaker, videographer and rising director with more than 18 years experience in the business, Kristian has long cast his own distinct glow in the Film, Video & Entertainment industries. His most recent accomplishment is a project he produced, directed and starred in “Postcards: Mandela”, an Africa Channel special feature that was just nominated for an NAACP Image Award. His first editorial recognition came from his work on the critically-acclaimed documentary and television mini-series "Icons Among Us: Jazz In The Present Tense". A documentary the American Film Institute cited as an example of filmmaking excellence for 2010. A gamut of his Emmy nominated editorial projects have been featured on ESPN, The NFL Network, HBO, BET and SITV, just to name a few. Some of his most notable clients include Warner Bros. Records, Overbrook Entertainment (Will, Jaden and Willow Smith in partnership with Justin Bieber), Simmons-Lathan Media Group and NBC-TV Networks. Residing in Los Angeles but still strongly tethered to Detroit, Kristian is now bringing focus to his passion project and directorial debut. He reveals the heart-pounding true story of Detroit Techno with an amazing film set to release this year, and whisks you around the world in an upcoming travel series based on his adventures: “Electric Roots: the Detroit Sound Project”.
